During January I think my complexion mainly resembled a raw chicken so I was all about the colour to try and brighten it up!
Rimmel Apocalips in Big Bang
I mean how red is this? It can't do anything BUT liven up a dull casper like face! I love this lip shade; it's one of my favs. I like how it feels on the lips, the longevity of wear and of course, the colour!
I also found myself relying on the Murad Intensive-C Radiance Peel to help liven up my fix and boy does it work. It adds a glow whilst inside I'm actually dull and want to hibernate!
From November to February I HAVE to have a bottle of Philosophy's Eggnog bath and shower gel in my bathroom. I think this winter so far I've gotten through like three bottle of it so I couldn't not include it. I think it's a real comforting scent and I use it as a bubble bath so when I step into the bathroom it's all cosy :))
Urban Decay Naked Palette
I'm an all or nothing girl with eye shadow and I tend to go between pale shades or dark shades. You can just about see in this pic that Virgin and Sin are my go to pale shades whilst Toasted, Hustle, Creep and Gunmetal are my prefered darker shades. The middle ones are hardly touched. Due to the fact that winter has made me propz pale I've actually been using eye shadows to try and define my eyes a bit. I like using an uber light shade all over the lid and then using a darker shade in the crease and outer corner. I like the contrast of the two colours. I know I'm propz committing eye shadow crimes but whatevs, that's what I like.
Sleek Blush By 3 Palette in Pink Sprint
I love complimenting lip colour with the right tone of blush and during winter, reds and darker shades of pink along with berry tones are my staple colours so this palette is the one I pick up more than any other. It's SOOO pigmented though so I have to use a duo fibre brush or something similar for a light application. OR I just cake it on and embrace it. Either or.
There we have my Jan Favs. What products have you been picking up more than others lately?
