I painted my nails with OPI Lincoln Park at Midnight (the shimmer version of the famous Lincoln Park After Dark) and I just yearned for something more so I took my OPI Man with the Golden Gun gold leaf topcoat and this is the outcome:
Firstly I will apologise that my nails aren't as glossy as they should be because these pics were taken after two days of wear so could have done with a spruce up but I think the overall effect comes through!
I love the contrast in the cold leaf and the black/purple of Lincoln Park at Midnight. It glams up my mani and makes me do the 'finger dance'. I've found recently that when I'm in a 'nail funk' this gold leaf topcoat has been my immediate 'go-to' because it requires no thought or complexity with maximum results. The only thing is... I want a silver one to be brought out too now!!
Have you tried a gold leaf polish at all? Do you know of a silver version I can get my hands on anywhere? If you do, PLEASE let me know!

DeleteWow so pretty!! :) i have to get my hands on this! Have u checked ebay? U can get silver leaf there but its not in a polish you have to apply it yourself, I've only ever used it with gels so i don't know what the outcome would be with just polish :/

DeleteTwo days of wear?! Thats amazing! I can't go a day without tip wear! I've been dying to buy the Rococo gold leaf top coat, but i just can't bring myself to pay that money for it. I thought the prices would drop when the novelty wore off, but they never have. Great post as usual x x x
