L'Occitane Body Lotion with Shea Butter - LOVE this! This is also my 'January Product of the month!' I repurchase this time and time again and really think it is a must have item!
Philosophy, Amazing Grace Hair Conditioner - I've had a couple of these in gift collections before, as a stand alone item, no I wouldn't purchase it but I use it within the set. The 'amazing grace' scent isn't as strong in this product as it is in say the body wash and has almost got a 'playdough' smell to it which isn't all that great!
Elemis Exotic Island Flower Body Balm - this body lotion is quite 'runny' and because of this, a little bit of product goes a long way! It smells GORGEOUS and you know you're using a higher end product with this. Would I repurchase it? Maybes not as a stand alone product but if it's in an Elemis collection it works out better value for money so in that instance, yes.
Elemis Japenese Camellia Oil - This is another product which I've used before, if you're familiar with the Monoi Melt Elemis do, this is almost easier as it doesn't need warmed before use. The scent is quite strong, it's not a modern floral scent so I wouldn't recommend this for the likes of my cousin who is 18. I think it's more sophisticated is better suited to someone who likes headier fragrance.
Philosophy Eggnog Shampoo, Bath and Body Wash - this can be used as a shampoo, body wash or bubble bath. It's too drying for me to use as a shampoo but throughout the festive season I use this as my bubble bath and body wash. It smells of Christmas. I think this has been in my bathroom over Christmas for the last four years and I've stocked up on some in the sale for next year. LOVE it!
OPI Acetone Free Polish Remover - the only polish I use, it's acetone free so doesn't strip the nails of any natural oils. This 480ml size lasts me about 6 months and I usually purchase it from eBay. I've already repurchased this so I've got a new one to open. This is a must have for me.
Toni and Guy Shampoo for fine hair - I bought this along with a couple of other Toni and Guy products when they were on a 3 for 2 in Boots. I like how this shampoo lathers up and I would probably repurchase it. Personally, at the minute I am loving the Body Shop's Banana Shampoo and Conditioner and have a little stockpile of that so I don't need shampoo but there isn't anything putting me off repurchasing this in the future.
SBC Propolis Bath Soak - I think you need a good few pumps of this in the bath to get sufficient bubbles but it does soften the water and as it has antibacterial properties I've been using it as I've had post operative wounds. It's soothing, none offensive, almost scent free, gentle. It's not a luxurious product, more a practical one. Would I repurchase it? If I needed it in future for the practicality point then yes, but to be honest I prefer to use more 'luxurious' products in my bath.
L'Occitane Ruban D'Orange Body Lotion - I had a little bit left in this bottle for AGES because I knew this item is discontinued and I was scared to use it because I do genuinely love it. I really like orange scented things and teamed with the fact it's a L'Occitane product too, it's a pleasure to use! It's light enough to sink into the skin quickly but rich enough to moisturise well. Would I repurchase it? I wish I could!!
Bare Minerals Hydrating Mineral Veil - I think I prefer the original mineral veil to this one. I can't give you a reason why exactly apart from the fact this one has a tiny shimmer to it whereas the original one doesn't.
Bare Minerals Well Rested concealer - this isn't a concealer as such but that's how I used it. I found that on days where my eyes 'play up' I can use this as it doesn't irritate them at all. I do have a couple of concealers which I do prefer to this though so no, this probably isn't a repurchase.
Benefit PoreProfessional - I'm pleased this was only a sample size. I broke out with this and felt like I needed quite a bit of product to cover my face. It did help my makeup stay put, granted, however I could feel this on my skin and it overall it just didn't float my boat. You win some, you lose some I guess.
Smashbox lipglosses and Bare Mineral lipglosses - Both brands I love for lipgloss and will continue to repurchase from both their ranges. I loved all these colours; in particular the baby pink smashbox gloss called 'Pout'. I've already repurchased this as it is one of my all time favourites!
Ojon Hair Treatment - I know some people don't like this smell but I really do! It's a good hair mask, it works, as long as you wash it off and rinse well. It's not my favourite hair mask of all time but it's not a bad one by any means. The things I don't like is that I don't like to use this overnight as it gets all over my pillowcases so that limits the use to just a quick hair treatment. Also my dogs try and lick my hair when I have this on. Even when I wrap it up in a towel I have Buddy, one of the labs jumping up at me trying to remove said towel to eat my hair. It's traumatic and he gets into trouble so for that reason, no, I won't repurchase in a hurry.
Liz Earle hand cream - this is product I've used before but it's not my preference, I prefer L'Occitane hand creams. For me, this doesn't sink into my skin as much as I like so no, I wouldn't rush out to repurchase.
Lush's Lemony Flutter Cuticle Butter - I love to use this as an overnight hand care treatment with cotton gloves. I adore everything about this, it's thick consistency it's scent and the results speak for themselves! I already have a new pot of this to open :)
Sorry if this post was a bit of a long one but I wanted to cover all my empties because I love to see what people think about products when the novelty where's off and all of the product is gone!
Also, L'Occitane... PLEASE bring back the Rue D'Orange range. I MISS it!!
