Artsy Wednesday: Valentine's Day Mani

Ahhhh another February is upon us, another Valentine's Day is approaching and here is another mani to celebrate this wonderful day!  (Detect the sarcasm!)

I didn't want to go down the typical road of reds or something girly like pink... not because I don't like these manicures as obviously I do but just because I wanted to challenge myself a lil bit and think outside the box.

So I came up with a pink/grey/blue heart leopard print mani (what a mouthful!):

I used Leighton Denny's polishes for this mani in Pink Promenade, Between Blue and Zero Gravity:

I also used nail studs which I bought from the Born Pretty store:

I really like the colour combo of this and the subtle heart leopard print and it's also added a lil bit of funk to my otherwise stressful and demanding February believe me!!

Come actual Val's Day I have no idea what I'll be sporting on my nails; last year they were a matte dark green so maybes this is the year I tame myself and become a bit more traditional?  Then again, maybes not hehe!
