25 Random Facts... About Moi!


1. I wasn't born in the UK but I don't know any other language other than English (cryptic fact eh?!)

2. I love cups of tea and can't function if I don't have at least two cups first thing!

3. If I had to pick between wearing underwear and having my nails painted I'd pick the latter.

4. I can't sleep on my own.

5. I love to cook and I'm pretty good too!  (Watch out Nigella!)

6. It's safe to say I don't have the patience of a Saint!

7. My favourite Disney film is Cinderella and I love the mouse, Gus; he's just so funny!

8. Pregnant women freak me out... they have a PERSON growing inside of them!!

9. I don't like tummy buttons (least of all my newly reconstructed one... thanks Mr Surgeon!  Not!)

10. Almost every time Pretty Woman is on the TV I have to watch it, despite having the DVD so I could watch it when I liked anyway... :/

11. I don't like being on a boat.  Needless to say a long weekend boating trip along the Thames was NOT the best decision ever.

12. I could listen to Florence and The Machine all day long.

13. One of my top ambitions is to drive down Lombard St in San Fran.

14. I actually LOVE David Attenborough.

15. The only news I watch is on E!

16. I would love it if a) Sheldon was real and b) if he was my BFF.

17. On the surface you'd think I'm really tidy and organised however open my wardrobe or a drawer...

18. I hate having a mobile telephone and I literally only let about 10 people have my number.

19. I'm a Starbucks person.

20. I believe that people who have dog(s) should need a licence to have it/them.

21. I don't like coloured mugs/cups (on the inside bit) I like them to be white so I can see what colour my tea really is.

22. I really think I suffer from S.A.D. 

23. I go weak at the knees when I hear a South African accent.  Mmm.

24. I cannot and will not watch a horror film as I am the biggest wimp ever!

25. I prefer writing with a pencil (a soft one) to a pen.

  2. I think I am a victim of S.A.D too, I am counting down the days until it's more spring/summery! Also, I'm pregnant at the moment and it freaks me out that I have a person growing inside me! I never really thought about it until it actually happened haha. xx

  3. I love these posts! Pregnant people don't freak me out all of the time, but I do find the thought of growing a child very disturbing and would never want to do it myself!

    I am definitely the opposite on the phone front, I have to rush home and make myself late whenever I realise I've left the house without mine!

  5. I love these, it's great finding out about other bloggers! I'm just so nosey! I'm also a starbucks person! I totally agree about dog owners needing a license, there are far too many vicious dogs about at the moment!

  7. I love these posts! 7. is just so cute! if I watch cinderella i cant help but want to squide wee Gus's face!! Heh is just so fricking cute! 13. I'm going to be there on Monday! so excited! sadly I cant drive down it but will definitely be taking a photo of me at the bottom!! hehe 14. I LOVE him too! he is such a legend! and i totally agree with 20!

  10. Really enjoyed this post, nice to know a little more about you even if they are random facts haha. I like the licence to own a dog is a interesting thought, i have a rottweiler (who is the soppyist dog i think anyone would meet) but because of all these horrible people bringing them up to be nasty everyone's automatically scared of him. It's really sad because when we walk him no dog owners will let their dog play with him :(.

    The whole pregnancy thing don't really bother me, however when i was pregnant and was quite far gone i remember my son decided to move which doesn't sound that odd. But his ass literally stuck out of my stomach and you could see it move to the other side of my belly....now that did weird me out lol x

    1. i think we should have licenses to encourage more responsible dog owners. too many people have dogs then give them away, get another dog, don't research which breed will be best for them... etc... xx

    Have you tried light therapy for SAD? It's just a bright light that you sit under every day to mimic the sun in the summer months. Maybe worth giving a try? :)

  20. I hate having a mobile phone too! I always bring it with me in case of emergencies but hardly ever use it. It's nice to know I'm not the only different one in this technologically ruled world :) Pretty Woman is one of my favorite movies of all time. I agree with the dog bit as well. Wow we have a lot of the same opinions haha
