Top 2012 Nail Polishes

Like with my favourite lipsticks post, it was sooooo hard to narrow down my top nail polish picks of 2012.  I have so many 'go to' polishes so I decided to pick a range of both colour and brand:

L-R, Nails Inc St James, Leighton Denny Plush Pink, Essie Mint Candy Apple, Leighton Denny Zero Gravity, OPI My Private Jet.

St James - this is my fav EVER red.  I've had bottles of this in the past and I adore it.  Reds are so hard to get right... I can't tell you how many reds have had to meet the bin because they give me VNL.  (Visible Nail Line... I'd rather have VPL than VNL!)  This polish is Nails Inc at it's best; an opaque glossy creme.  Magical.

Plush Pink - is a pink that works no matter what time of year.  It's bright enough for summer use but has a berry tone to it which is fab for winter.  I think this is also a pink which will work well on a multitude of skin colours.

Mint Candy Apple - I lusted after this colour so much before eventually buying it.  Sometimes I can't justify nail polish purchases because I own that many so when this came along although I yearned for it I had a feeling I would wear it once and have a bit of an anti climax with it but I was wrong.  I've picked it up a good few times in 2012 and it even became the choice for my Birthday Nails back in July!

Zero Gravity - without doubt this is my most used polish of 2012.  Whether on it's own or with other colours in a nail art thang, it has served me very well!  It has became a staple polish for me.

My Private Jet - I can't begin to express my love for this bottle of hologram amazingness.  No words can express my actual love for it.  Love a nail polish?  Abso-f***ing-lutely!  If I had to pick between this and some of my family, I'll be honest, this wins without a second thought!!
