Last Thursday my Nails Inc TSV arrived and I was immediately drawn towards the leather effect polish:
This leather effect, Shoreditch Lane will be officially launched in March with Nails Inc but it was released early on QVC within the TSV collection and I'm ever so glad it was!
I really really really like the look of this on my nails and despite not putting a topcoat on (it's advised you don't... I wasn't just skipping this step!) it has lasted amazingly well. The only thing that I'm like 'hmmm' about is the feel of it on your nail. I'm a very tactile person and I have a habit of stroking my fingers over the tops of my nails but with this effect it feels like sand. It takes a while to get used to and especially as I HATE sand it's a bit of a stumbling block!
I am going to see how I get along with this and see if I can get over the whole sand feel because I've heard that Nails Inc will be releasing a nude version of this... with... wait for it... ROSE GOLD STUDS!!! How exciting does that sound?!
What do you guys think of this textured nail polish? Have you tried it or would you like to?

ReplyDeleteI am adoring the new leather look. The colour's divine however it is very rough to the touch. Roll on the rose gold effect have a feeling that will turn heads. Daft as it sounds I thought washing my hands and doing my normal day thing would change the effect but was surprised when it didn't change. Gorgeous effect, gorgeous colour. Great blog. Roll on the next auto delivery option xx
no i know what u mean... it's weird cos at first i was like 'is the effect air bubbles?' cos it's definitely not got particles of anything in it because it comes out smooth... it confused the life out of me! xx
