Leighton Denny QVC TSV 1st Feb 2013

Leighton Denny 9 Piece Instant Glamour Collection
On Friday 1st February there will be a Leighton Denny TSV on QVC UK.

After some teasing from Leighton QVC have released a little sneaky look at it on their twitter page and the official pictures have also been put up on QVC online.  The item number will be 202920 if you want to have a search on there :)

The collection includes 5 full size polishes, a pot remover, a new improved crystal finish topcoat, a miracle mist quick dry spray, a corrector with brush and a cosmetic bag.  The pink polish you see I believe is Pink Promenade with is going to be part of Leighton's Riviera Collection for S/S13.

All in all this is a goodie I think... I'm to my last corrector, I'm all for an improved Crystal Finish because I find the dry time on the current one is a bit of a pain so I'm hoping it's the dry time which is better.  The colours look nice and I've managed to see some swatches of the polishes by searching twitter and they look better on then just in the bottle I think.  So yeah, this one looks like a goer :)

  2. Thanks for much for posting!
Can't wait to see the colours. LD is my favourite nail polish brand.

  3. I think I am with you on this one Catrine. I know I shouldn't, but think I will have to! I find that my only problem with LD is the dry time, so like you, hope this crystal tips speeds that up. Other wise you need to use the dry drops or spray, it just needs to be planned for a nail change. Nails Inc is so much quicker. I love Nails Inc Albert Bridge. It is crystal clear, easy to apply and even with a thick coat over glitters and feathers dries very quickly. My only concern is that the colours in this kit look similar to the ones in the March Auto Delivery drop of the October TSV and the March drop of the Nails Inc TSV. But I will get them anyway and sell on the bits I don't want /need.

  4. Hi Catrine, Leighton Denny are having a QVC TSV on Friday the 18th of March. Wonder what it will be! As usual, I don't need any more polishes, or treatments, BUT I will probably take the plunge anyway. Have just started using Red Carpet Manicure, so my nails are all the same length for the first time in ages, but I do put my own colours over the top each day. My sister in law and I are both loving it even though it is a bit time consuming, because the results are fab!

  5. Hi Catrine, thanks for the reply, I have M.E. so sadly life is not good, but I love my make-up, beauty products, hair care and nail varnishes, and they make me very happy!

I was unsure about shelling out so much money for RCM but splashed out on the last TSV in French and Fabulous. Got it on advanced order, so only got my delivery about 3 weeks ago. I am pleased I got the set on 3 easy pays, other wise I don't think I could have managed to buy it. Used it twice now, lost one nail after 8 days, because I had got some of the structure down the side of a nail without realising, water got under it and it lifted. Other than that I am delighted with my purchase. My nails flake and peel at the ends all of the time but not with the gel on them. I bought into the products once I realised I could still use my normal polishes over the top and remove with non-acetone remover. Have been using peach Cutex for false and acylic nails, it takes a bit longer, but not so long as to be a nusance. I always use rubber gloves whan my hands are in water, but have been gardening without gloves and had no problems. Just setting aside 30 mins or so every other Sunday night while watching the tv to take the gels off and start again. I have even filed the ends this time ( a no no realy!) and they have still stayed on.

I have over 250 bottles of polish, mainly Nails Inc, so will have to think hard about the next LD & NI tsv's, but if I can sell a few bottles of polish I have doubles of on ebay, it will ease my conscience!

I hope you are keep well at the moment, fully recovered from your op at the back end of last year.
