Artsy Wednesday: Inspired by Current Season

Well it is very much the autumn right now in the UK.  My car has even been iced over!  (THANK GOD for heated windscreens!)  So this week my manicure is inspired by Autumn:

I dived straight to richer nail polish colours which are very much gold toned!  The red/brown shade is Forbidden Territory by Leighton Denny (this is one of my all time favourite nail polishes and I actually blogged about it way back in February!) and the gold colour is actual an unknown shade from a cheap nail art pen I picked up on eBay!

The above pic is instagrammed in natural daylight, the below pic is without any editing at all in natural daylight:

I added nail studs which I bought from Born Pretty.com for a bit of bling!

The next two pics are in artificial light; they seem to pick up the shimmer in the polishes more:

I LOVE autumnal shades... I think I'm gonna have to do a post listing my favourite ones... I love kind of earthy tones I think opposed to dark plums and then when Winter hits I LOVE my dark purples then!

Now check out what the other members of 'Artsy Wednesday' have designed by clicking their links below:

Michelle - Lab Muffin
Alanna - Pretty Purple Polish
Emily - An Accent Nail

P.S I'm thinking about cutting my nails down to real square like they were back in February; what do you guys think?  I have a constant battle with nail length... I'm always battling whether to grow, stay the same or go shorter!  Argh!
