Artsy Wednesday: Halloween Nail Art

Booooo!!!  Hehe... I jokes!  Happy Halloween everyone!  Have you all got plans?  I haven't... I haven't even got a pumpkin this year... my life is soooo empty :/

Soooo Artsy Wednesday falls on Halloween so it was a no brainer really wasn't it?  Halloween nail art coming at chya!!

I thought of literally 100 different options for this week's theme... but I wanted to go with something that was coordinated rather than a mish mash because I find when I have mish mashy type nails on I get bored with them.  I don't know how because I know it doesn't make sense... you would think I wouldn't get bored because I have different designs on each nail but I do!  I just prefer something which is more coordinated and wearable... must fulfil my inner OCD.

Anyway... let's get into the polishes:

Thumb: OPI Skull and Gloss Bones with Barry M Black over the top (cling film effect)
Index: Leighton Denny Sunburst with Barry M Black over the top (cling film effect)
Middle: Leighton Denny Sunburst and Barry M Black water marble
Ring: Leighton Denny Sunburst with Models Own Black Nail Art pen (tried to draw a pumpkin!)
Little: Leighton Denny Sunburst with Barry M Black over the top (cling film effect)

Thumb: Leighton Denny Private Jet
Index: Leighton Denny Sunburst and Barry M Black water marble
Middle: Leighton Denny Sunburst with Barry M Black over the top (cling film effect)
Ring: Nicole by OPI, It's all about the glam with a 'ghost' on using dotting tools and LD Private Jet
Little: Leighton Denny Sunburst with Barry M Black over the top (cling film effect)

I'm not happy with the pumpkin face... one of my dogs knocked my arm and then the whole thing just got ruined.  I should have started again but I was too tired to stress over it and went to bed to watch Made In Chelsea instead.... I suppose the general jist  is there... like you can tell it's a pumpkin... or supposed to be!

My water marbling didn't turn out wonderful either... you know when you swirl it to get a nice pattern?  Well I kept breaking it with the cocktail stick so that was a bit of a ball ache too!  :(

All in all though I'm fairly happy with my design and I just love the cling film effect which I discovered last week!  So simple but effective!

  18. We had a big Halloween party in our office; I don’t have long nails so I did some nail arts by sticking fake nails. I did same art as forth nail in your first image.
