I picked O'Hare and Nails Look Great (red) and Lucerne-tainly Look Marvellous (pewter). Didn't I pick similar names in terms of polish too?
The red is supposed to be reflective of the red room of pain and the grey is kinda for Christian and Anna... Christian GREY... Anna STEELE and steel is a grey colour so...
This is my first ever attempt of doing a ruffian mani and I must admit I struggled because at first I didn't know what one was! I even googled but LOADS of different French type images popped up so I did have to ask what it was so I hope my interpretation is correct!
I don't know exactly the 'done' method either for this mani but after my base coat I applied one coat of red polish, I only wanted to but one on because I wanted full coverage with the second colour. I then applied 3 coats of the pewter... I painted my nails as normal but just didn't go as far down. Simples!
What do you guys think? Who else has jumped on the 50 shades band wagon? I caved for sure and have all 3... I've read the first but not got chance to start the second yet. Have you read one or all?

ReplyDeleteI love this! Still haven't read the book, but I should get around to that soon.
ReplyDeleteI can definitely see how this was 50 Shades inspired ;) Very truthful representation, haha. I must admit that I've read the first two books and am almost through the third. They're pure trash but addictive :p
ReplyDeleteWow looks amazing. I got as far as buying the book but not started yet :-)
