Half Moon Mani Attempt Deux

Back in February I tried a half moon mani and failed miserably so I thought I'd give it another shot:

This is the only nail which turned out okay!

I decided that my Ciate Jelly Bean base would be a good contrast for Leighton Denny's Ink Jet (one of my fav blue shades) so I used hole punch reinforcers (I think that's what they're called?) and took most of the stick from them by putting them on the back of my hand before placing them on my nails:

I created a tear in the actual sticker so they were more pliable and easier to manipulate into that semi circle shape on the nail.

I then painted my nails using Ink Jet and removed the stickers:

This pic is before clean up so apologies for unsightly polish job!  I love the contrast of the pink and blue however the half moons just weren't uniform enough for me and my other hand was a disaster so I didn't even bother with taking a pic of that!  My half moon mani needs practice.
