I've been toying with the idea of changing my foundation to a liquid one for a few weeks now; I occasionally dip into a liquid one I have from Clinique but on the whole I use Bare Minerals in fairly light :
I think I've just got complacent with it and dare I say bored? So I tried to remember why I fell in love with it so I done half a face and these are the results:
(Apologies about my ugly mug btw) Here is half of my face before:
Half of my face after swirl, tap and buffing:
It really does eliminate the redness and evens my skin tone out without making me look like I even have makeup on.
I should add that I only have the foundation on my face; I wanted to do the half a face test fairly so I didn't use a primer or a concealer.
After looking at the half a face test pics I've decided to stick with my mineral makeup. It doesn't cause breakouts for me; it's not full of crap and it works. What else do I need to concern myself with? Yep; I'm sticking to this foundation for the foreseeable future.
You can check out the range at the Bare Minerals website where they give a list of all the foundation colour options. I use fairly light because it's neutral based; although my skin can be 'yellowy' I also suffer from redness around my nose and at the top of my cheeks.
What's your foundation of choice? Are you a liquid or a powder foundation girl? Have you ever tried mineral makeup?
