Artsy Wednesday - Inspired by candy/sweets

This week's artsy Wednesday theme is a manicure inspired by candy/sweets/chocolate/cake... whatever makes your sweet tooth go 'oooooo' I guess!

I was inspired by my fav chocolate of the moment - Nestle, Aero Bubbles:

I love mint and chocolate together.  LOVE.

I painted all nails brown and on ring finger I painted mint green polka dots:

For the green polka dots I used Barry M, Mint Green:

For the chocolate brown I used Rich Coco by Leighton Denny:

Overall I'm quite pleased with this mani because it's subtle.  I know I'm not one for being shy and retiring when it comes to nail art but sometimes I like having something which will be wearable enough to leave on my nails for a few days.  I love the brown; it's like melted milk chocolate and the green is strong enough to see even on top of the brown which, at first I wasn't sure would work.

Ahhh I want chocolate now!  I love chocolate... it's my weakness.  Along with red wine!

If you want to check out more yummy manicures pop over to my Artsy Wednesday Sister's blogs:

  6. Yum, that is the perfect chocolate brown! And it looks like glossy fountain chocolate! I agree about having manis that you can keep on... it feels like such a waste of polish otherwise!
