I started off by doing a ring finger mani then taping said ring finger:
Then painted over with the pink, pulled the tape off and it went a bit wrong from there as it bled! Was I supposed to wait until it had dried more?! My other hand turned out just as imperfect:
I like the pink and orange together... (one of my fav combos ever... even have a personalised Louis Vuitton with this colour combo!) but I just wish I could master the tape mani!

ReplyDeleteI love the colours! Try a thinner coat of the top colour, and make sure you peel the tape off in the length-wise direction, I find that it's more likely to screw up if you peel the tape off sideways. You can also try fixing with a small brush and putting a flattening topcoat over it (Poshe or Seche Vite work well for me). If it dries more, you usually end up with weird peely bits, which can sometimes be fixed with topcoat but usually stays around looking ridgey.
